Welcome to Balsamo Outreach for Learning and Teaching! As a Ph.D student, I am both actively researching the relationships between working memory and language learning and working with BOLT.  After presenting at numerous BOLT international events and outreach programs the past three years, I felt that this organization was the organization that I wanted to become more involved in.  The organization is built on developing strong academic skills for language teachers in developing countries through the expertise of language teachers who are teaching in Asia.  Furthermore, BOLT embraces the notion of enhancing and enriching knowledge in youth about various world issues related to building sustainability in communities and countries across Asia.  BOLT believes that youth are the key to the development and bettering of communities in the world, so BOLT empowers these youths through participation in the Asian Youth Forum Events.
